WCC Capture Workspace Migration

WCC Capture Workspace Migration from A instance to B:
1. In A instance, connect to Capture WLST tool using wlst.cmd command in Windows command prompt or wlst.sh in Unix
eg. D:\Oracle\Middleware\Oracle_ECM1\common\bin\wlst.cmd
2. Connect to Capture Server using the following command:
connect(‘<username>’, ‘<password>’,’t3://<hostname>:7001′)
3. Run domainRuntime() command
4. Get the List of Workspace of A Instance using the following command:
listWorkspaces()
You will get Workspace ID and Workspace Name. Copy the ID and use it in the below command to export:
exportWorkspace(‘<workspace_id>’,’E:/export.xml’);

You will now get export.xml file in E:/ directory.
Copy the xml file.

5. Go to B instance, paste the xml file in E:/ directory, connect to Capture WLST tool using wlst.cmd command in Windows command prompt or wlst.sh in Unix
6. Connect to Capture Server using the following command:
connect(‘<username>’, ‘<password>’,’t3://<hostname>:7001′)
7. Run domainRuntime() command
8. importWorkspace(‘E:/export.xml’);

Things to remember after Exporting Workspace:
1. In Commit Profile: Direct Commit, change the Imaging URL from A to B
2. In Commit Profile: Direct Commit -> Field Mappings tab, Mapping needs to be done for each field.
3. While Importing/Exporting Workspace, use Forward slash(/) in the File Name Path.
